This house is built on the tradition of the Nordlandshus, which was a very popular way of building houses in the northern part of Loften back in the old days. There is a full kitchen with everything, a livingroom, a separate dining room and bathroom, all on the ground floor. Upstairs you find the two bedrooms and a small restroom. There is a small terrace upstairs facing into the valley.
There is high speed broadband (wifi) in the house.

The house is situated in a rural and quiet area with almost no neighbors. Still, its only 4-5 minutes to the city center of Leknes and 7-8 minutes to the Leknes airport. There is a lot of local hiking options if you want to stay at the house in stead of driving around. The view is right onto the Atlantic Ocean and you have some great mountains on several sides.
From here you can easily reach most of the nice places to hike or explore in everything from 10 to 50 minutes.
