Eggum - one of the finest areas outside Lofoten. With its distinctive coastline where the large round stones indicate the forces of the sea, with the steep mountains that create the well-known silhouette Eggum is known for. Here you will find a hamlet full of history - all the way back to the dawn of time.

The view from every corner of Eggum is unique, and you can enjoy the midnight sun at summer nights or a wonderfully beautiful northern light from August to April. There is a rich wildlife out here and many bird species with eagles that top the list! Out in the sea you can find everything from puffins to killer whales.
